Urban Nature St Peter-Ording

The hotel is great for families (playground right by the hotel), couples, bike riders, etc. and so is the area. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet: different kinds of milk, a high-quality cappuccino machine, really fresh fruit. Very attentive and friendly staff. The hotel is a great starting point for walks on the beach. The rooftop bar is well worth a visit at the end of the day. Great views from there!

We stayed here at the end of June/begin of July with our dog for 4 nights and could not have been happier! Hotel is new and it shows, everything works, everything is clean and shiny, and the best part, they seem to try to keep it that way from the start, there were staff cleaning and checking things all around. Check-in was quick and easy, as was the parking to their own (cool) underground garage. Our room was their cheapest room, facing towards main entrance and the woods (nice and quiet), and even that was very comfy and had a lot of space. No air-con, which would have been nice since it was very hot when we stayed there, BUT, we knew that there would be no air-con when we booked, so we cannot fault them for that. Breakfast, like so many other have mentioned, is excellent. Lots of selection, small changes every day and the staff in breakfast room were nice and helpfull, like all the staff we encountered. And, you can eat breakfast at terrace with your dog if you like (we did :) ). Roof top bar is small, but nice views and nice drinks makes it lovely place to relax. And again, you can take your dog there too :). We had one dinner at their restaurant, my pork was heavenly and wife’s beef also excellent. And, you guessed it, if you eat outside, your dog can come with you :). All in all, great, great place. And if you travel with your dog, you will have to work hard to find a better place to stay. The location is so easy to stay with the dog, lots of woods and green areas for those early morning and late evening walks, and of course the overall attitude of the hotel towards dogs is so welcoming. We had few situations with staff members who were, how should I put this, a little hesitant with their English when they should not have been, I mean, their English was fine, they just did not trust themselves. And I get it, English is not my first language and if I don’t used for a while, I start doubting my abillity to use. Don’t hesitate, just let it go :). Special shout out for a staff member at the restaurant (I’m so sorry I cannot remember her name :( ), we had a nice, short discussion about Finnish band called Eläkeläiset, what a nice suprise that was! One miner note: as I walked our dog late in the evening, I noticed that you can get to from garage to the floors where the guests are staying without using your keycard. I’m pretty sure that this is not an issue in this area, but to be honest, it seems a bit careless nowadays (and I am not a huge fan of hotels where I have to use my keycard to get to anywhere). But, like I said in the beginning, we could not have been more pleased! Highly, highly recommended. And who knows, maybe we will be back in the winter time to see proper storms (as the lovely staff member at the Check out recommended :) ).

Modern, casual and comfortable A very stylish, comfortable and modern facility. Friendly and direct service. However, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms may be bothersome on hot days.

We enjoyed the Urban Nature hotel in SPO a lot, the room was very nice with a very comfy bed. We also appreciated the dog friendliness and all the nice staff working at the hotel. Breakfast was very good with some nice choices, though it was a bit on the expensive side anf it was disappointing that sometimes food ran out and wasn’t replenished in a timely manner.
